Epiq Scripts was built by two founders passionate about improving patient care by bringing pharmacy services into the future.
Sultan Haroon and Maja Matthews knew that by taking pharmacy services digital to better support the telemedicine revolution, they could ensure that patients received the medication they needed, faster and more conveniently, paving the way to better health.
Inspired by the story of a small-town pharmacy
Maja’s career in the pharmacy industry didn’t just begin 25 years ago. Her love for the profession started with her papa Charles’s pharmacy, in a small town in Sulphur Springs Texas. She saw how personalized care was ingrained in the business and how her papa Charles was passionate about taking care of his patients.
In fact, his dedication led to him becoming one of the first to spot the opportunities that technology offered to provide a better service. He was one of the first in town to introduce a computer to the pharmacy, so he could better track prescriptions, orders and patients’ needs. And it was this blend of innovative technology and old-school care that inspires Epiq Scripts today.
